Then Miranda and Paul, child prodigies turned adult screw-ups, receive their estranged father’s will in the mail just as he becomes famous for his role in the 2008 financial crash. Next up, Gabriel, a nice Jewish boy with dreams of being a movie star, gets released from prison and moves back home, where the gang he joined on the inside puts his parents in an awkward position. And finally, there’s Cee, a disgruntled queer Starbucks barista and computer hacker who decides to get sweet revenge on their employer but totally alters the fate of humanity instead.
